Foggy woods at Free Holler Farm

vision

Slow down enough
to hear yourself again.

We did not build this place to fix you. You are not a project. You were intentionally made, body, mind, and soul, and the land here knows the difference.

Free Holler is an experiment in subtraction. Less programming. Fewer voices. Slower meals. More time on the porch than the schedule would suggest. We are betting that what most people actually need is permission to stop, a place safe enough to do it, and the quiet it takes to hear what's true again.

what we believe about you

The body was designed for restoration.

We believe humans were intentionally created, that the nervous system, the breath, the gut, the heart, the capacity for awe, none of it is accident. The body holds an astonishing intelligence for healing when it is finally given safety, presence, and time.

Our work integrates what is true across disciplines: trauma-informed somatic practice, nervous system regulation, nutritional therapy, embodiment, reflection, prayer, silence, and unhurried time in creation. We hold these together because the body, mind, and soul were never meant to be treated separately.

And under all of it is a quieter conviction, that the same God who made these mountains made you, and that reconnection with truth, with self, with creation, and with Him is where real freedom begins.

what we practice

Six small commitments.

01

No competing voices.

We will not stack your day with ten teachers. The mountain is enough teacher for most of what you came here for.

02

No pressure to perform.

You do not have to journal. You do not have to share. You do not have to be transformed by the time you leave.

03

Slow enough to hear yourself.

The first day, you'll hear your phone. The second day, your thoughts. The third day, something underneath both.

04

Honesty over polish.

We'd rather have a hard, true conversation than a curated, comfortable one. The land seems to invite the same.

05

God, self, others.

Reconnection in that order, if you're inclined. The first one makes the other two possible.

06

Striving into presence.

Most of what we call life is performance. Here we practice the radical, unfashionable act of just being.

an invitation

If you are tired in the way that sleep doesn't fix, come.
If you've forgotten the sound of your own voice, come.
If you just need somewhere safe to sit for a while, come.
