Resident greeter. Adventure buddy. Friend to basically everyone.

Boone is our Mountain Cur and unofficial welcome committee.

He loves people and has yet to meet someone he doesn't think should immediately become his friend.

Whether he's exploring the property, following us around the Holler or greeting someone new, Boone is rarely far from whatever is happening.

If you're coming to Free Holler, there's a pretty good chance Boone will believe you've come specifically to see him.

And honestly, we haven't had the heart to tell him otherwise.

Biscuit

Our newest addition to the Holler.

Biscuit is our five-month-old lamb and the newest member of the Free Holler family.

He's part of the beginning of something we've wanted for the land, bringing animals back into the everyday rhythm of life here.

We're still learning his personality, his quirks and exactly how much mischief one little lamb can create.

But he's already very much part of the Holler.

The Holler Is Growing

Boone and Biscuit are just the beginning.

As we settle into Free Holler and continue caring for the land, we're excited to slowly expand our little farm family. We're especially interested in giving the right rescue animals a safe place to land when Free Holler is the right home for them.

We're not trying to fill the farm just for the sake of having animals. We want to grow thoughtfully, making sure we have the space, resources and ability to care well for every animal that comes here.

So stay tuned. There will almost certainly be more hooves, paws, feathers and personalities joining the Holler.
